‘Far East Consortium’s Ritz Carlton’

As construction nears completion for the premium Ritz Carlton Hotel, the industry renowned developers have made a shift in attention to its new $1.4 billion project, set to take place in Northbridge.

Four years ago, Far East Consortium acquired the prime location for the complex, with plans to transform the site into a dual-tower multi-use complex.  The Cottee Parker-designed ‘Perth Hub‘ has undergone many design changes over the journey, before gaining approval last year. One tower stands at 32-storeys tall and comprises 304 residential apartments. The second tower will house the 4-star Dorsett hotel and will feature 250 rooms across 23-storeys.

Situated across the popular shopping strips of King, Perth and Lake Streets, the property will act as a gateway to the city’s famous shopping district, as well as housing its own 1,200 square meter retail shopping complex. It’s also close to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and walking distance to cultural landmarks including Scitech Science Museum, His Majesty’s Theatre, Kings Park, and the Art Gallery of Western Australia. The project is estimated to bring approximately 1 million visitors to the area per year, which will assist with boosting Perth’s annual tourism rates.

The residential tower has been designed with a range of apartment configurations available, to facilitate first-home-buyers entering the property market. The new hub is going to act as an excellent opportunity for young buyers looking to settle in a desirable, yet affordable location.

Completion is anticipated for end of 2020.
