Contract Administrator / Junior Project Manager

With a Diploma of Interior Design this candidate is in the process of completing her Diploma of Project Management, due for completion September 2020.  With the majority of her experience being within the fit out industry, this candidate is passionate about returning to this market.  She is a diligent and meticulous worker who has a strong commitment to her role, strong communication skills with the client, she is very considered in her approach and takes pride in her work.

  • Five years at Perth’s leading fitout company demonstrating excellent tenure to the business.
  • She was the main point of contact for the client and project team and was the lead in project management on smaller fitout jobs of less than $500k.  Her responsibilities included, preparing project control documents for new projects and monitoring the entirety of the project from conception, through to delivery and completion. 
  • Achievements include a successful bid for long-term contractors to perform maintenance and head contractor works within the Perth CBD, successful estimation and project delivery of a number of floor fitouts and University fitout projects as part of a nationwide roll out. 
  • Instrumental in implementing an online Integrated Management System for all reactive, maintenance, quoted and minor works.  As well as experience in training of new employees.
This candidate is a very diligent employee who would be an excellent CA/Project Coordinator or PM on smaller scale jobs in commercial fitout.  She is looking for an opportunity back in fitout and to work across larger scale projects and to progress her career in a business that aligns with her values. 

Business Development Manager / Bid Management / General Management

With a diverse background in Management roles this candidate has a solid understanding of commercial fit out.  He has extensive knowledge of the market and industry trends. His strengths lie in understanding where the work is coming from, the most important relationships within the market as well as the broader general management business objectives and accountabilities. 

  • With over 15 years of Management experience this candidate has admirable relationship building, negotiation and problem solving skills. With a commitment to fitout, a committed and consistent work ethic, he has a  focus on progress and growth for the business he works within. Being well networked combined with excellent client relationship skills and a friendly character, this candidate gets the results that count!  
  • Responsibilities include managing the tendering process to ensure timely and compelling and commercially appealing bids are prepared, provide guidance to those involved in the tender process, provide timely advice on the selection of appropriate projects and review and improve construction methodologies that win tenders.
  • Skilled in Supplier / Sub-Contractor liaison, proven negotiating skills, managing staff from all levels, reporting at all levels of business including P&L and policy and procedure formulation and implementation. 
  • Achievements include Increased number of tender opportunities annually by 30% through improved relationship management and identifying new markets and business opportunities. Increased sales turnover by 20% through developing closer business relationships and engaging with new clients earlier resulting in a higher number of opportunities being negotiated rather than tendered.

Site Manager / Site Supervisor

Our fantastic candidate is a proactive professional with over 25 years’ experience in Construction Industry as Site Supervisor/Site Manager in multi-disciplinary environments with extensive experience in Commercial fitout and overseeing finishing trades, and consistently works to a high technical standard. This candidate is an honest, highly versatile and self-motivated candidate with high work ethics and a fantastic communicator who will add value to any team he aligns with. 

  • As an experienced Site Manager, this candidate comes from a Carpentry trade background, with experience across Project Coordination and Contract Administration he has a strong commercial acumen.
  • He has significant experience in Managing finishing trades across, Health Facilities (Hospitals, clinics, special needs and age care), Commercial, Residential, Civil, light tram rail infrastructure, waterproofing, under pass tunnels, structural concrete, steel frame, hard and soft landscaping, modular building systems, pre-cast concrete structures and heritage/restoration.
  • With a diverse career within Commercial Construction abroad and nationally, he has global expertise working for world renowned contractors 
  • With a structured work approach, he is excellent with his attention to detail and builds strong relationships with trades, colleagues & clients.

Senior Estimator

With a diploma in Building and Construction, this high achieving and ambitious candidate has vast experience as an Estimator for two well known fitout companies. He is a reliable candidate and has an honest, enthusiastic and motivated disposition that sets him apart as a passionate and committed estimator.

  • Previous role with over 7 years experience as an Estimator this candidate has a strong understanding of the market, he has admirable leadership skills and excellent knowledge across the intricacies of commercial fitout. 
  • He has been responsible for preparing quantity take-offs in an efficient and accurate manner, working in line with set out budgets and cost plans, analyze and select supplier and/or subcontractor quotations and manage time constraints in the preparation of tenders.
  • Experienced in working on tenders up to $7m across a range of disciplines, as well as mentoring and training graduate colleagues and demonstrating collaborative leadership skills to the team. 
  • Excellent stakeholder relationships, and subcontractor feedback as well as and liaising with clients, architects, consultants and subcontractors to discuss and resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
Our candidate has played an instrumental role in a front end Estimating role. He is a dedicated and committed individual who offers a strong skill set which will be of significant value to his next workplace.

Project Manager

With over 20 years of Project Management experience, this high calibre candidate has effectively managed teams on leading commercial fitout projects. He is a determined and persistent Manager who is able to effectively foster strong stakeholder relationships within an outcomes driven mindset.

  • Has lead a team of 5 x Project Managers in his recent Operations Manager/Project Manager role at a reputable fitout company where he worked across delivering Educational/University, Private, Commercial, Local/State/Federal Government projects. Contract types include Fixed Lump Sum, Design & Construct/EPC, Managing Contractor and Cost Plus style agreements among others.
  • Extensive leadership skills and management of team with client and stakeholder relationships all whilst striving to achieve agreed business deliverables and outcomes. 
  • Achievements include leading teams through the delivery of many successful projects ranging from $500k up to $12m and low rise extension and some new build projects.
